About The Project
DC Appleseed -- along with business leaders, community organizations, and others -- is working to ensure that the DC government meets its statutory obligations to create more affordable housing, improve employment opportunities for local residents, and protect and restore the environmental integrity of the Anacostia River during the development of the Anacostia waterfront. We will continue to work with these groups to bring the benefits of the burgeoning economic development along the river to all city residents. Pro bono assistance for our efforts has been provided by Steptoe & Johnson LLP, Patton Boggs LLP, Deloitte & Touche US LLP, and Reznick Group.
